The 2021 Bikeways Program is in progress. DOT is reviewing 36 streets to understand what type of bike improvements are possible. Our review process involves data analysis, bike lane design, community feedback, and budget feasibility.
The Fruitdale Avenue project requires additional striping east of Southwest Expressway. The additional striping is necessary to make sure you are able to safely drive westbound on Fruitdale Ave. You should see temporary striping on the ground on April 6th, 2021.
